Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My mom, my husband, and Dr. Emmalee Bandstra, for showing me how cool women pediatricians are!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love gardening, cooking, working out, fostering kittens, and always trying to involve my husband and girls in more outside activities!
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I loved working with kids when I worked as a Ballet teacher as a teen. When I volunteered with kids at Miami Children's Hospital in college I knew that becoming a pediatrician was the right path for me.
