My oldest sister. She is a physician too and from her I learned the importance of discipline and dedication and treating every patient as you would treat your own family.

Drawing, crochet, reading, and swimming. Now I am relearning to play the piano
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
Being able to guide families through their children's growth and the happiness and joy that kids bring with them at all times, even in their most vulnerable moments.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I like to be playfull with the little ones and try to give them a good memory even if is not a great day for them.
I try my best to listen and take my time with my patients, making sure parents are comfortable with the plans and understand the why of the decisions made.
I do what I can to prepare parents for the challenges that might come in the future
Building trust with my patients and family is the most important part of each visit and I treat them as if I was treating my own family
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I have a lot of patient with ASD and I always ask parents to bring something with them that would help them remain ground. We placed them in the room as soon as they get here if the waiting room is too overwhelming for them. I try to adapt to the preference of the patient for examination and meet them in whatever position they feel more comfortable on, even if that means not being on the examination table
