Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My maternal grandmother. She taught me the value of determination and resilience. She showed me the meaning of true strength and the value of humility.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Kayaking, bicycle riding, going to the beach, martial arts and finding new places to visit in the outdoors.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
My own pediatricians that took care of me when I was a child. They were not only phenomenal doctors, but also very caring humans.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Being able to relate to families with limited resources and capabilities and helping them with the care they need.

My girls saw dr Lu I think, but omg! I’ve never met a doctor who interacts with the kids so much! She sang to my girls and let them put the thing on the ear scope, she talked through everything she did with them. I will never recommend another doctor or pediatric place than Pediatric Associates! Pls pls take your babies here, they are amazing!!!

The staff and Dr Lu were amazing!! They got my grandson in quickly. Dr Lu made us feel like we were only patient by not rushing us. She was very attentive and answered all questions with a beautiful smile. I highly recommend Pediatric Associates.

Best pediatric office I’ve ever been to! From the desk clerks to the nurse to the amazing no shaming but says it like it is doctors! I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else! Great staff in the Daytona Beach location! Staff look to resolve issues instead of immediately stating why an issue can't be resolved, unlike the front desk clerk at our primary location! Nurses were nice, the doctor was okay. I went in for the first time for my child's ear infection, I wanted to bring up other concerns but he didn't want to talk about them, he said another time. I thought it was rude. It wasn't busy, the clinic is clean.
