What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
The incredibles. I believe everyone has a superpower, whether it's a skill, a gift, or a personality that can impact the world around them in some way. Our parents are our first heroes, and family is where we learn who we are and what exampleS to follow.
What is your favorite children's book and why?
The "Disney bedtime favorites". It encourages a daily routine and quality time with parents and the kids get to know the classic Disney characters.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Board games are still my favorite toys!!! It's so fun to share this time with family and friends.
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
Certainly my parents, who always prioritized my education, quality family time, and did everything possible to help me achieve my goals. They are my greatest example of values, love, and courage.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Baking cakes, and traveling with my family. I do miss dancing ballet, I hope one day can go back to classes.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I have always loved being part of children's development, whether it was teaching my little brother to read or teaching ballet to kids. In medical school, I knew Pediatrics would make me feel immensely grateful for contributing to so remarkable achievements, while also promoting health.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I believe that what sets me apart is establishing a relationship of trust with families and their children by taking the time to look them in the eye, validate their concerns, explain my medical point of view so that together we can establish a plan.
